Are girls unattractive with braces?

I'm 21 and look like I'm 16. I just got braces and look even younger. I feel goofy when I go to the bars. Guys say I'm hot and my friends and boyfriend say I'm still "smokin" but I hate them lol. My teeth weren't even bad in the first place, but I wanted them to be perfect.

Voice of experience here...the only downside to chicks with braces is when they give out those annoying little nicks and scrapes on a guy's lips when they kiss. Of course, I'm a lot older than you and come from the days when braces were those big metal things...I hear they've made them a lot more comfortable and discreeet these days, so they probably aren't so bad.

Question--If guys describe you as "hot" and your teeth weren't even bad to begin with, is there possibly just a little bit of vanity at work here?

Perfection is always out of reach hon...Looking young isn't bad. Looking like you don't feel comfortable in your own skin is. If people say you're hot and "smokin" which by the way is so much better than I've ever been called, then you're lucky! No a whole lot of people in this world have natural beauty. And it sounds like you do. I'd be thanking your lucky stars for that.

I'm a lot older than you are and look 15 years younger than my real age. As you get older, you'll appreciate looking longer than you really are. Don't let braces get you down. They'll be off before you know it and you'll be glad you got them. Even though your teeth weren't bad before, think of them as being perfect when they come off! Some people need to get braces and cannot afford them so be grateful you were able to get them.

GIRL.. I am exactly the same.. I am 21 and I have braces too.. You are still HOT.. no doubt about it.. A lot of my friends say its cute having braces, at least you will have perfect straight teeth once they are taken off.

I had my braces put on when I was 33 years old. Best thing I have ever done for myself; my teeth really bothered me and I would never smile. I smiled all the time when I had my braces on because I knew my teeth were getting straighter. Sounds like you worry too much about what others think of you. Don't do it; it will drive you crazy!!

i'm 18 and that i do no longer think of it makes any difference that a woman wears brace. as long because of the fact the girl remains a similar lady i began out liking from the famous individual then making out along with her does no longer be a subject because of the fact i ought to have a similar feeling for her.

I'll just say, what the hell were you thinking getting them, if your teeth werent that bad you should have left them, a girl with braces is like a guy wearing red latex thongs, especially if you're 21...what were you thinking. Your teeth must have been horrible because you knew you wouldnt be looking hotter with braces in the first place, oh well, i guess besides the pity from your firends, if i were you, i would just creep under a rock, and stay there until they're off.

well i wanted braces because i was tired of being teased of my messed up teeth. so i got them. really the people i hang with say that braces are a turn on and that that's one thing they find hot on me. so i just go with the flow. i look good with them on and i'm going to look fab with them off. it's all based on what you think. do you like them?

you said yourself that everyone still thinks that you are pretty. don't worry about them. just think about how pretty your teeth will look when you get them off. i'm 17 and have had braces for 3 years. i can't wait until the day that i'll get mine off.
