No. But a lot of people who interpret the bible to suit their own prejudices are.

I find it very interesting that anyone on here believes that they know what God is against or not against! The truth is, we don't know if God is against gays and lesbians, because God doesn't speak to us (this goes against many religious individuals ideas). However, I think that since homosexuality is very close to being proven genetic, then no, he would not be against them. Personally, as a gay man, I believe that God loves all of us regardless of sexual orientation and that he created us all the way we are.

If God were against gays and lesbians then he would not have sent his son to die for all sinners. What many people forget is that Jesus was sent to pay the price for all sin and to offer a way for anyone to be accepted into heaven. The only thing required is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God (according to this verse) and died for our sins. We are encourage to go and sin no more, however being flesh, we are weak (thus the need to repent.) God is no more against Gays and Lesbians than he is against Muslims and Buddists, adulterers, liars, white supremists or bigots. He waits for us to come to him and offers salvation to all.

No. If God was against Gays and lesbians, then why would he create them? why are there blacks? why are there whites? why are there hispanics? we don't know, we just exist and we're divided by differences... one day, we'll know, but make sure to know, God doesn't hate me for being a lesbian.. I love my friends, my family, love people around me and there's a reason why he wants me to be like this... maybe he will judge others who are judging us down here as if they were God.

Nobody can really tell you this except God. Nobody really knows except God. He is the one who judges you. So don't listen to anyone who says yes and don't be so sure of the ones who say no. It is up to God. I believe that no one sin is bigger than the other except suicide so if God is against homosexuals it is no bigger than him being against liars, cheaters, theifs, or any other minor sins. He loves us all and hates sins all the same. So don't let people get you do about this topic because God loves his children all the same, and only he can tell you yes or no on judgement day.

God created and loves us all...and He makes no mistakes! If God didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any. What IS a sin are people who translate and interpret the Bible and use it to justify their bigotry...those that assume the role of God and pass judgment on others, and preach hatred and intolerance. those are the "fake" Christians, and they've earned their place in hell. "real" Christianity is about love and acceptance. I never learned anything in church or Sunday school that said it was OK to hate in the name of God!

Technically, what homosexuals do is against how God wants humans to live. Homosexuality is the most horrible distortion of human nature ever to appear on this planet.
My answer may get many thumbs down, because truth hurts.
Not only Christianity, but also all other major religions hold "zero tolerance" attitude towards homosexuality.

God isn't for or against anyone. It all comes down to how we live our lives, not what the Bible says or the Koran or the Talmud, etc. If there is a God, we will be judged for our actions.

God loves all of us. He gave us His Word to help us live a better life. God tells us "a curse, without a cause, does not come." Sin causes us to be cursed with diseases, poor decisions, whether physical or mental we suffer for our sins.
Romans 1:28-32 NISB
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper;
being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

God is not against gays and lesbians (as people) He is a God of love (1John 4:8). However his is against the act of homosexuality. Romans1 24-27 " God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them...God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into on contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error

God is NOT against anyone who is faithful , loving & honest with their lives..
Although i dont have the moral authority to speak on behalf of God, my conscience pretty much tells me that God loves all of his creation who believ in love. That love could be between a man and a woman, between 2 women OR between 2 men..
i would go to the extent of saying that God loves 2 gay men who are faithful to each other MORE than He loves a husband cheating on his wife :)
thats all i ve got to say :)
