I once met this guy in an airport departure lounge. Don't rememeber his name but both of our flights where delayed and we somehow got to talking. It was so strange, because we both knew that we didn't know each other from Adam and we'd never see each other again (he was going to Germany to start a new life, I was going back to college in England) it was like we had carte blanche to talk about whatever we wanted and give out opinions freely and without judgement.

We talked about the strangest things, like what we thought about gays in the military and if we were ever gonna have kids. It was just like that movie Before Sunrise with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy.

He was a really sound guy, sometimes wonder what he's upto now.

My boss. He's very intelligent yet also very scatterbrained as well. Has been all over the globe...and back....twice. Been married 4 times. Owns his own company. Never stays on one subject for more than 4 minutes. He was a wrestler at a state college and enjoys taking trips down memory lane. He can be generous and selfish at the same time. He's just who he is and he isn't afraid to show it. If you are offended by his nature...he deems you to be the odd one.

Sean McBride. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1974. I photographed him at an Amnesty International meeting; he was gentle, soft-spoken and asked about the different cameras I was using.
Ken Taylor, the Canadian ambassador to Iran who helped six Americans escape from Iran during the hostage crisis in 1979 was also very interesting, mainly because he talked about things other than what he was involved with.

Now that I think about it I would have to say that was my uncle, he was such a smart unlucky guy. He could build a palace out of matches, he was so clever, always had the best answer, he was some sort of "Mr. Know it all", but he had no job, he ended up as an alcoholic. Then joined AA. I could never figure out what was wrong inside such a "Beautiful mind". I guess I'll never know.

My friend Ryan. He's a local radio personality, and to hear him and see him in the studio, he's one person. When he's away from the mic he's another person. It's amazing to watch the transformation. Not to mention he's a very deep person, but yet he's got that kidlike mentality at times. He's totally opposite from me, which is nice because he can bring something that I didn't think about to a conversation. It's just amazing how we connect and get each other, but yet, we're polar opposites in some senses.
