how long will it take for the fly to wake up?

No, not in the freezer. When the liquid freezes in the cells, it expands, and bursts the cell walls. When the liquid thaws out, the cells leak and the creature cannot live. This is why frozen food never tastes quite the same as fresh, because of leakage of the cell contents.

If you cool the fly down but not to freezing point, it will probably revive. There are cases where humans have been revived after a couple of hours of severe chill to the point of clinical death.

yes. in fact, a lot of magicians use this as a "resurection" illusion. the fly, whlie frozen, is in a state of suspended annimation. just the warmth from the hand wakes it!! usually takes 30 sedonds to a mintue.

Well for one thing this is the wrong thing to ask for the topic you selected and two you got to elaborate. It is possible but it depends on how long its in there and how cold the freezer is.
