which do you like best silent hill or resident evil?

Definetely Silent Hill. I love that series. Resident Evil lacks focus in terms of storyline.

Silent Hill, although Resident Evil 4 is pretty good. it's had me shaking and jumping a few times during game play (I hate the Bella Sisters).

ahhh the horror games heavy weight match...idk i would have to agree with a couple of the posters...resident evil is entertaining,and the whole getting me traumatized think worked expecially resident evil 4 with the whole chain saw,regenerator thing...jesus man..wiht surround sound...i had to keep looking behind my shoulder if you know what i mean lol.but silent hill seems to be more creepier...i think its cuase your not as well equipt like resident evil...and the whole you cant see anything past your flashlight effect gets to you,cant say to much really about the movie...i hear its one of those B class movies,although it didnt really kill the franchise,and still has a chance to redepmt itself,its funny cuase most people who watched it dont really understand it cuase they have never played the game.

i wouldnt really say silent hill wins by a knockout,but it does win :D,if you based it off the important elements in a horror game,such as the story line,and scare factor,lol,compairing the two is hard but i think silent hill pulls out as the winner for this one

I got it both of them are the best.you got resident evil with all the action and then their is silent hill that wil just plain freak you out.
