I have accepted that I'll never really be friends with these people, not because I don't like them or they don't like me but because I'm too shy, I thought that this might be a good way to show them I like them, but I spent about $150 in christmas gifts should i still give them?

About you being shy, that is pretty neat, I like it. The only thing is, don't let your shyness get in the way when there is something important to do. God Bless.

Your shyness shouldn't be a reason why you can't be friends with someone. Nor should the gifts you buy be a reason that you all will become friends. If you bought them gifts & you really want them to have them, then give them to them. If you only got them so that they can be your friends, take the gifts back to the store & don't worry about it. Just be friendly & you all might become actual friends.

You shouldn't just give people gifts to show that you like them. They should like you even though you are shy. You should know that you can't buy friends. And if you give them those gifts and they start to talk to you or don't talk to you. They aren't friends at all. But, since you spent the money on the gifts you probably should give them to people that are your friends or give them those that are less fortunate.

Honey, you can't buy friends. Why not just sit them down and tell them how much you really like them and want to be friends; but, you need a little help because of your shyness. That would be the best present you could give...honesty...and maybe they can help you develop yourself socially. Godloveya for trying so hard!

You shouldn't have to give gifts to get friends. Take those gifts back and buy yourself something with that money. If its true friends you want you don't need to buy them gifts to have them as friends.

Of course not!! Why should you be so nice to them if they don't care whether you're alive or not. I suggest returning those gifts because if you give it to them then they would be taking advantage of you because most likely giving them that gift will not make their attitude towards you change at all.
