You can get it at any of the places you mentioned, but why bother? The dairy section of your grocery is loaded with it. Look for products like yoghurt, buttermilk, or sour cream which say "active cultures" on the label. However, if you cannot tolerate milk products, you'll have to go the other way.

There are many benefits to taking a probiotic. I am not aware of any direct connection between a lack of probiotic and psoriasis. A probiotic is way to increase your body's good bacteria. At this time, what causes psoriasis is not known. However, based on current research it is believed the immune system plays a role in psoriasis. For people that suffer from psoriasis it is important to maintain a healthy colon. The probiotic will help with this. However, you should cleanse your colon at two to three times per year. I use a product called Oxy-Powder, which is a oxygen based intestinal cleanser. I have used for awhile and I feel great. The company that makes the Oxy-powder also carries a great probiotic as well. The Latero-Flora which their spore bearing probiotic. I hope this helps you.

You can get it pretty much anywhere that sells vitamin supplements. I suggest a GNC but you can also get it at the pharmacy. A natural source of Acidophilus is yogurt. If you are having a vaginal yeast problem you can actually use plain yogurt and insert it vaginally...
