Someone has to do it. I would if I did not have kids, my husband just joined and I am very proud of him!!! We should be thanking them, And be happy it is over there and they are not over here walking our streets.

To actually DEFEND, yes, if it came to that.
But this country hasn't been directly attacked by a foreign power since 1941, and hasn't been invaded since 1812.
What we do these days is "defend American interests," which isn't the same thing.
There's no honor in violence of any kind, but if I saw someone cutting you with a straight razor, I'd do what I had to to stop him. My "honor" would be secondary to your life.
But that's about as far as it goes.

of course, if i was 20 years younger!! if an unknown evil entity were to attack our united states, id join up and fight and defend!

Dragon doesn't wanna be in the army. She doesn't wanna be in any sort of military cuz she doesn't wanna have to go to boot camp and be yelled at and be made to conform.
