All of the lights on it are light up and it's plugged into a power supply, but I can't get anything to appear on the screen. What should I do to fix this?
Thanks!

This could be a very serious problem, and I highly suggest that you talk with your manufacturer's support room as opposed to Yahoo! Answers.

Many things could be wrong. It's very possible that it is something with your motherboard, and that would require your computer to be opened and something would have to be replaced.

Of course, it could also be something else, but without being there, I couldn't give you any better advice.

If you have XP operating system try this.

To use a Safe Boot option, follow these steps: 1. Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
2. Select an option when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and then press ENTER.
3. When the Boot menu appears again, and the words "Safe Mode" appear in blue at the bottom, select the installation that you want to start, and then press ENTER

If this works you may have some sort of error in your machine and you should restore your machine.

Hmmmm...... It could be an off shoot chance that the laptop's LCD screen is acting up. You can try connecting an ordinary old computer monitor to the laptop's vga video connector on the back to see if anything comes up on screen when you turn the laptop on. If you can see video then that probably means the laptop's backlight has went out. They're replaceable but you'd have to take it to a service/repair shop.

I had the same problem twice with my pc. What i did that fixed the problem was i left the computer turned off all day and i replaced my memory cards. It may work for you depending on whether or not you have a bad lcd.
