Should I Switch Schools?
I have gone to private school my whole life. Im in 9th grade and next year Ill be at a public highschool. If I switch to the public jr. high Ill be there for only like 5 months. Alll my good friends have left my private school for other schools and the friends I have there I have grow apart from and don't have very many classes with.
If I switch schools I think I will be happier & its alot larger than my school : my 9th grade class right now has 71 people in it who I have been with since elementary the public school has 521 in 9th grade and I can name 100 people there I know and 3 of my bestest friends go there & 4 of my cousins. My friends think Ill be popular but I dont really care if Im popular or not I just want to make new friends and be happier and more prepared of highschool and get out of the school that Im in.
What do you think ?

Ive been wanted to leave my school for a year & a 1/2.
HELP PLEASE
=)

the school Im at now is harder so Im not in as many pre-ap classes as I could be at the other school. In the other school I can be in them if I want - that way I get more high school credit. But either way I think Ill learn just as much because its only for 5 months.

My parents are finally going to let me.
If I do I have 4 days left at my private school.

Deffinitly switch schools! You have the chance, take it. Either be alone and appart from everyone for the rest of your life, or go to a great new public school and meet loads of new people. Its more exciting too. If I was you I would get kind of sick of that private school. Just switch, if its what you want do it.

As long as the drop in quality to go to the public school isn't too great I'd say go for it. Often private schools have the resources to offer you more options, so you have the ability to pursue your interests. If the public school you're considering can meet your needs, and you think you'll be happier there, then why not try it? Worst case is you deal with it and apply to private schools later.

I t might be a good idea to just wait. I say this simply because it will be confusing for people to get your records straight. It could mess up your credits for graduation. I say don't take the risk because it's too close to mess things up.
