There are so many types of bisexuality that it truly is the most diverse state. First off, there are degrees of bisexuality- not every bisexual is split 50-50 in their desires, but most have a preference for one over the other, and it can be 99% to 1%, 40% to 60% or any divide in between! Then you have bisexuals who dichotomize their desires into gender expression- what they love most is the differences of each sex- the way they can be tops with one sex, bottoms with the other, the alluring femininity of a woman, the strength and manliness of a man. You have bisexuals who would probably be better defined as 'equal opportunity lovers' who simply don't see gender as being important to the person they love. There are some who see both sexes as being emotionally viable potential relationships- they can settle down with either a man or a woman. And there are those who see one as being sexual and relationship material, but only sexual for the other (you would be surprised at the number of bisexual men who love sleeping with men, but would never, ever date one). It's just one of those things- different expressions of sexuality.
So yes, lots of bisexuals have relationships with both sexes, but some don't. Your friend is a bisexual man just like any other.
Hope that helps!
Oh, and P.S.- you describe him as have 'sticky sex' with guys. Isn't all sex pretty sticky? ;)

Nothing "makes" people bi, they just are unless they're experimenting for "fun". Yes, they can have relationships with either sex. The idea about being gay or bi is both the sexual AND emotional attraction/attachments to people of the same sex and in the case of bi's either sex.

Bi means someone is sexually attracted to both sexes. A bi person can be a virgin. I really didn't understand the question to much, you really weren't all that clear on it.

Some theorists believe that bisexuality is actually the normal, default sexual orientation in humans, and that homosexuality and heterosexuality are learned.
Others think that our orientation is biological (having to do with genes or some "rush" of masculizing or feminizing hormones on the fetal brain, before birth).
Others think that our orientation is wholly determined by social forces (like parental upbringing).
My personal belief is that a human is very malleable as far as his or her sexual orientation goes, and that it can be influenced by both biology (genes and hormones) but also by social forces. Overall, I believe bisexuality is the default orientation in the human species but also that biology and social forces had an effect on what we become. In other words, I believe in the INTERACTION of the biological and social forces.
Do I think that my own upbringing had some hand in my orientation? Yes, I will admit that to you. I also believe that all supposedly straight men are, at some level, bisexual in nature.

yes. I am bi and have had relations with both genders. I usually title someone as bi when they get sexually aroused by males AND females. Most people are bi-curious. They would fantasize about a relation with the same gender but solely prefer the oposite one.

Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers back to the romantic and/or sexual charm of persons to others of the two genders or sexes. maximum bisexuals at the instant are not the two fascinated in women and men human beings and could even shift between states of looking the two gender or intercourse completely appealing over the path of time. So..........in case you won't like kissing a woman i could say you're heterosexual and basically think of two men making out is a activate. anybody has distinctive turn ons. If it concerns you talk with somebody in the scientific field or somebody you have confidence.

bi/ curious. What's the difference, call it what you want. Your friend is enjoying what both worlds have to offer. Curious is just a way of saying I'm Bi but don't want to admit it. And being Bi does not mean you have to scream to the world who you are, you can be a discreet as you or your friend want to be. Stereotypes are for ignorant people. I have many Gay and Bi friends and many of them you would never know. Some of my Bi friends are even married to straight people. Just tell your friend to live their own life and be happy, and if their friends or you can not accept who they are then they are not true friends.

If your friend is attracted to both sexes, he is bisexual. It doesn't matter if he likes one sex more than the other. I myself am bisexual. I'm still not sure if I like girls or boys more but that's the beauty of sexuality, you choose it for yourself and you don't have to know exactly what you are. No one can tell you what you are except for you.
