Interstate batteries are good but they are not exact fit battery. Try CARQUEST they have a battery made by east-penn that is the exact battery that came in your car. You can also find them under the name DEKA mostly on the east coast.

I would try a battery supply store such as Battery Patrol or Interstate Batteries. If they don't have anything then I don't think you will find it. But I think you are better off with the MB battery, though. They really hold up. I don't know how old mine is because they didn't punch out the date, but it is more than 3 years and still strong as an ox.

The MB battery should be closer to $125, plus they will come and replace it for free (labor) on the roadside assistance program.

I buy the MB Diesel batteries and they are only about $125. A gasser battery should be even less.

But if you don't want to pay 225 for your benz to be in tip top shape, too bad. you'll forget what you are missing. we wont.
