I have 1 A ,1 B+, 1 B & 1 D

you have 4+3+3+1 / 4 = 2.7 or so.

edit: looks like some folks are trying to mark your B up .5 a pt but i think this is not the case. the + or - inflection shouldnt have any bearing on the letter mark to calculate into the gpa as far as im aware.

4+3+3+1 divided by 4 classes is 2.75. Not the worst ever, but that D really hurt you. (This is assuming your classes are all worth the same number of hours/points)

My school's GPA scale takes into account the number of credit hours each class is worth. I would suggest emailing your advisor/counselor and asking what your GPA is and how they calculate it.

if you're going to a university, it depends on the units of those classes (at least for my uni.)...you're suppose to multiple the units by the grades to get the grade points and then divide those grade points by the total amount of units you took over the semester...

if you don't go by that system of calculating then you have around a 2.83 gpa.....this is what i did to get that #:
A = 4
B+ = 3.3
B =3
D=1
add them = 11.3/4=2.825

Divide that by 4= 2.75
