start up always at black screen (start windows normally, last known conf., safe mode) after using computer for approx. 15 mins. black screen appears again but will not start up windows at all untill the computer is totally shut off for at least a half hour or so system turned on again @ restart the black screen appears, BUT pick "start normally" & windows loads and system works properly for approx. 15 mins then just repeats ???? Had computer checked & serviced still not fixed ??? any ideas anyone ?????

Quite frankly I think you need to return the system to Dell for a replacement or exchange or repair... describe precisely the problem you are experiencing... especially the time factor - and have them determine the issue.

It sounds like you are having multiple problems - the most critical being that the system is overheating for some reason, causing the crash out...

Go to the Dell website, input your serial number and go to support - the should offer phone, or live chat... and they should send you a free box to package the PC, as well as free mailing to their support center.

That should get you fixed up.

Send it back to Dell, it's your right as a consumer for them to change it if you have not done anything to void the warranty. Have you tried restoring it? ;) it does sound like overheating, check the temp. on the Bios.

sounds like its overheating, make sure fans are working and no major leaks like you cant have cover off when using computer
