I think it is more about the settings on the amp than than it is the type of guitar the guitar. It's in the tone you get by adjusting the bass and treble, and equalizer if your amp has one.

indie is short for independent. the whole idea is to do something different. how can you make indie music if you are trying to copy everbody else????
