The Seiko Cleancut shaver and Shavy trimmer are used by thousands worldwide to shave off pubic hair.

If you've a hairy vagina you've got real medical problems!
It's your vulva that's hairy, and more particularly the two labia that cover the rest of your genitals.
Cut it short, right close to the skin using a trimmer, then buy a men's electric razor specially for that area. Norelcos (Philishaves outside the US) from the men's range are easily the most non-irritant.

i always shave. at first when it would begin to grow back it feels uncomfortable but that goes away pretty soon
waxing hurts like hell
and it's not good for you because your skin down there is more sensative then say your legs...

Waxing--don't dare shave it with a razor.
Although, waxing hurts like hell, and I can imagine it will be horrible on your vagina...O.o
