Green Bay can clinch playoff berth with:

1) GB win + NYG win + GB clinches strength of victory tiebreaker over NYG, OR
2) GB win + NYG loss or tie + STL loss or tie, OR
3) GB win + NYG loss or tie + CAR win, OR
4) GB win + NYG loss or tie + ATL win, OR
5) GB tie + NYG loss + STL loss + ATL loss or tie + CAR loss or tie

To respond to the post below regarding strength of victory: While unlikely, the possibility is still open assuming things go extremely well for GB. Beating a 13 win team will close the gap to 5 if both teams win (13 CHI wins - 5 WAS wins). Two of the NYG's relevant opponents play each other, so one will either win or both will tie (effectively counting as one win). Given that GB has won 7 games, it's still possible for their opponents to make up the difference since GB and NYG do not have any wins in common. Extremely unprobable, however.

the bears need to play grossman for any hope of GB beating them, and GB needs to let KGB loose to wreak havok. Once grossman knows the Fear, the game is over. The only way GB is going to win is to keep both Chicago's defense and special teams off the field and win with defense scores.

NYG needs to continue to throw temper tantrums during games and point fingers at each other rather than addressing the fact that Eli is no where near as good as Peyton. They continue to support him blindly, hoping that he's going to go through a magic transformation into his brother, but it's clear that this is not going to happen any time soon.

The Redskins need to beat the Giants (who beat the Packers on strength-of-victory, which is the combined record of the teams they've beaten), and our friends the Vikings need to beat the Rams (who beat the Packers head-to-head in Week 5).

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Redskins win that one, but I really don't see the pathetic-*** Vikings beating the Rams.

Just to respond to GB winning the strength of victory as listed by NFL.com

They CANNOT get in that way because at this point it is mathematically impossible for GB to beat NYG in strength of victory which is calculated by taking the winning percentage of teams beaten.

The teams the Giants have beaten have won 13 more games than the opponents that GB has beaten and therefore it is impossible for GB to catch the NYG in that regard.

So, if NYG win on Saturday it is curtains.

But I am certainly pulling for Favre and GB and I am a Bronco fan, go pack!
