Men SHOULD know what they could do to make a woman happy, and a woman should not have to necessarily TEACH a man these things, they should discuss them with them, what it is that makes them happy. Understanding, consideration, communication are all necessary things in relationships- and if men don't have those, there is really no teaching them that. Their mothers should have taught them those things growing up. Things that I have found I had to "teach" men is how to keep me happy in living with me- usually minor things, like cleaning shavings and toothpaste out of the bathroom sink... not all men can learn this though. Not all men can learn to put the toilet seat down. There are just minor things that I have O.C.D about that I have to try and teach the man about so that way my O.C.D doesnt get me all neurotic and pissy with the man. I am so much more pleasant when my O.C.D neuorticism isnt set off! LOL

Sorry, I'm not a lady but I can tell you what my wife taught me before we got married. We have been married for 25 years but the first thing she "trained" me how to do was be honest, no matter what the situation. She can handle failure from me but never a lie! She guided me with her wisdom even though skewed at times. We learned together because of the honesty. I never was with another woman but alot of other worldly things could have killed us if the honesty wasn't there. I went from making 200k plus to being in a car accident that nearly left me dead. She was there every day! Telling me all she loved was me and thanks to our open communication our love grew deeper. Once trust is gone, what do you have left? A good lay? Ahuge bank account, but not true love. If you teach your man anything, teach him that no matter what, as long as he's honest to you and keeps his winky in his shorts, you can conquer anything. We did and our children are reaping the benefits. They know honesty, with the ones you love is the most important ingredient in a successful relationship. I could go on about how she taught this to our 2 college kids but the scenario is the same. Don't cheat, steal but if you do don't lie about it. Take the demons sent your way and let the voices of reason set you back on the track that produces true, forever love!

I was with a guy who was into the whole "baggy clothes and flashy jewelry" thing. I tried to show him that guys look hotter in clothes that actually fit. I even bought him some Gap jeans and t-shirts. He was good looking and was impressed at how much girls checked him out when he wore clothes that fit. He kept up the style the whole time I was with him. He looked hot. A few months after we broke up, I ran into him at the store and he was back into his baggy clothes and flashy jewelry. Oh, well. I guess he should dress how he's comfortable.

Every woman should inform her man that she wants her man to LISTEN to what she is saying. He doesn't necessarily have to act on it; just pay attention and listen to her. I think men get frustrated when women want to "talk" because they want to "fix" the problems. It's not necessary guys. We want you to be interested enough to listen, that's all. Accept the person for exactly who they are, after all, that is what attracted you in the first place, is it not.
How old is the relationship, or is it just dating for now, exclusive or not?
be real, honest, respectful and loving without pushing yourself on them and expecting them to be something you want them to be
