Well if you go camping or if you use a charcoal bbq it makes a great fire starter. The clean lint (from the lint trap not the floor) could also be used as stffing for things like teady bears. A long time ago the lint used to be collected and used to make paper but thats before plastics like nylon got into clothing. Thats about all I can think of at this time for lint uses.
Have a good day!

Some people have mistakenly put lint out for the birds to use when they line a nest. The lint tends to hold moisture and be unhealthy for nest lining. My boys used to take a baggy of the stuff on Boy Scout trips to help start campfires.

If you're the crafty type, dryer lint is a wonderful additive to your paper pulp. Add and mix well just before forming your sheets.

You can put lint out when the birds are building nests and they will love it. Years ago I use to make felt Christmas tree ornaments and stuffed them with the lint.

Collect your dryer lint, put it in a cardboard egg carton and pour melted wax on it. After it hardens up cut it into indivual squares and it makes a great fire starter for your camp fire. A great way to use up all you old candles also.

Yeah, lint is dust off someones clothes, and their dry skin particles, string and hair, I guess it could probably be used as some sort of insulation, but do think of where it comes from.

A few years ago I read an article on an artist that mixed it with starch and made sculptures. They were cool - she would purposely dry certain colors together to get different shades.

I have heard that it's a good idea to just toss it out the window because the birds will find it and use it to build a soft and comfy nest. No kidding, they love it.
