i think he is creating distraction. even the sportscasters at the game kept talkin about Carrie Underwood and Romo, or Jessica and Romo. Its the end of the regular season, and his mind should focused on the playoffs, and what he can do to turn TO around?? As for you DUB, they were not just half time show performers, they are both interested in Romo, and they both see him before the games,etc...he should be focused, and the reason why is because he used to be a bench warmer, so he needs to prove to his team and himself that he is more than a "LUCKY" back up by focussing. Watch out, he could be a future TO!!! LOL

Well in the ROmo situation its not Romo thats creating the big distraction....its the media....they are going way overboard...the thing about this whole Tony Romo thing that bothers me is the media is making a big deal about him starting and doing good. Philip Rivers has done almost the same thing. Only he started at the beginning of the season. But you don't hear as much about him. Personally I like Rivers better. Not only because he is a better QB but hes not being overexposed. I probably might have liked Romo but i hear his name mentioned so much I want to scream.... Come on the NFL network did a special on him.......Its like come on...GIve me a break.....Why not do a special on all the young guns that have done great things...Like Rivers....Vince Young,,,,Frank Gore.....Hester.....Jones-Drew, Addai,.....Bush....and many others.Don't make it all about one guy..You know what if you have been sitting on the bench for three years than you better be able to come out and do some good things. Thing that i kind of found amusing was Romo had the plays on his wrist....that makes me question just how football smart he is..... thats the way it used to be before the salaries were too high and teams can't afford to let a guy sit on the bench. Its sad when something like Romo or Rivers is a rarity. Not for just the fans but the players too.

He should be smiling. It is a game...you are supposed to have fun. If it was all business how boring would that be. I want to see some emotion from my players...not rocks. As for the Carrie Underwoods, and Jessica Simpsons...he doesn't invite them...they were halftime entertainment that has nothing to do with him.
Tony Romo is doing a lot of good for a team that has needed someone to step up. I'm not even a Cowboys fan and I believe this.

No, Cassle has just gotten the starting job, and if the Patriots make the playoffs there will be a lot of pressure on Cassle to win the Super Bowl, with the Patriots postseason expectations based on the past, and their tough loss to the Giants last year. Romo has some experience playing in the playoffs, and has a decent shot of winning the big one this year. now it could change based on the Patriots' opponent's defense (primarily pass coverage) and if they get a team with a weak secondary, they could win the first game and possibly the Super Bowl. I say they could because if there's one thing we learned from last season, its DON'T GIVE THE PATS MOMENTUM!

No reason not to smile, espically if it is only a TD. They don't have to be robots. Being too downbeat when you are still losing will make it tougher for the team. You'll start making bad passes and lose from stupid passes. I'm sure if you watch most QBs you won't see them looking upset just because they are down by a Field Goal. Actually I want my QB to look confident and comfortable that he can come back from ONE touchdown. As to his dating life man that is his mistake. Some QBs get a big head when they start doing good, look at Big Ben. He admits he got a big head with his first season. As to Brady he didn't start playing in the same situation. Who knows what he would be like if he had.

I don't think he's creating distractions.
He's unfortunately on one of the majorly publicized teams in sports. Everything he does is gonna get shown and scrutinized. From his winning, his losses, and yeah even his relationships (Whatever they may be).
When you play for certain teams in major sports (Yankees and Cowboys for example, but that's a whole other topic to debate) the media will jump on you and be your best friend and your worst enemy when they seem fit.
He's a young kid, from a small town(which I happen to have seen him play some high school games from), a small college, undrafted, makes a well known team, beats out a well known quarterback to become a starter...
I'm sure he's on cloud nine no matter any other "distractions" that may come before him. I hope only the best for him and I'm not even a Cowboys fan.

well i dont really want to put all of the blame on romo becuase ever sense he started for the cowboys and started playing well the cowboys and all of the fans started treating him like there savior so he has had alot of distractions becuase of all of the publicity and you have to remember this is his first year as a starter so he still makes mistakes
ps tom brady is a really good qourterback but he does play for a very good team just remember that

It's not him, it's texas and how texas treats its football stars. See the Deion Sanders Beyond the Glory and how going to Dallas ruined his life and marriage.
Also, he needs only to look as far as Philip River's last game to see how far the annointed can fall, or Brees's 2005 season with SD, or Rothlisberger's third year sophmore season. A good rookie can surprise any opponent, but once they make adjustments, the grist gets separated from the fat.

well that's the problem with certain people they have a little bit of success and it goes to their heads and i agree with you that tony romo needs to win in the playoffs and even a championship before he starts showboating and i agree with you as well that if he keeps this up then he will fall from grace tony romo needs to just stop the bull s h i t and play some football

I'll say this about Tony Romo, the guy's no idiot. He knows he's been exposed and the bottom will be falling out soon. He might as well nail a few starlets while he still has some name recognition.
