They have great talent developing and good players getting better in Europe. Can they get beyond the round of 16 under Hugo? Will he dissapoint? How good will Gio and Vela really be by then? Can they bring the cup to Mexico? Reallistically though?

hmmm...hard question....but if you look at the whole issue with AGE in mind.....Mexico has a pretty good chance.....think about it....Brazil, Argentina, Spain, England....their best players are getting old and most of them will not be as good in 2010 as they are now, most of them won't even make it to the 2010 World Cup....and this is where Giovanni Dos Santos, Carlos Vela, Sergio Arias, Patricio Araujo, Omar Esparza come in play....if they continue with the same mentality and process that led them to the Sub-17 World Cup Championship, they will surely be better than they are now....these five combined with the other young but experienced players from Mexico's National Team like ...Francisco Rodriguez, Carlos Salcido, Omar Bravo, Alberto Medina, Andres Guardado, Ricardo Osorio, Gonzalo Pineda, Guillermo Ochoa.....Mexico definitely has a chance
