The African universities I have contacted say that I must have at least O score to be accepted....?

What does O score translate to in SAT score, roughly?

I am interested in attending Makerere in Uganda. Does anyone have any advice or tips on getting into African universities while being an American citizen???

I am a Ugandan student in the US.
I attended Makerere University.
There are 2 different levels of higher education in the ugandan system. The first is called the O-level which would equate to the GED and the A-level which is High school diploma. The most important is the A-level diploma. Uganda issues certificates for the A-level. A lot would depend on what you intend to study at Makerere University.
