When I was 16 I worked at an amusement park. (I was a Locker Rental Attendant.) It was a super hot summer day when a family of 5, including a teenage boy came up to my window to rent a locker. Afterwards they walked over to the nearby restaurant to get a bite to eat. A few minutes later, the teenage boy returned to give me a soft drink. He said since it was so hot outside, he thought I would appreciate this. It was a small, but very thoughtful gesture and I will always remember it.

i had just started a job at a factory and we had to leave our steel toed shoes there and wear street shoes into the factory , one day i pulled on flip flops and didnt even think about that i wasnt wearing socks, i got to work and realized it and went to the nearest convience store to get a pair, they didnt have any and it was an hours drive home so i couldnt go back home, when the lady behind the counter heard what my problem was she said she had clean laundry in her car and i could have a pair of her clean socks, i was never as grateful for used clothing as i was that day!
