It's the "franc" - based on Belgian currency - I know 'cause I used to live there.

There are two countries in africa called Congo
1. Republic Congo there money is called CFA-Franc BEAC*
2. Democratic republic of congo - Money: Congo-Franc

* that is a multinational currency exactly called "CFA-Franc BEAC (Franc de la Coopération Financière en Afrique Centrale"
