Hello, My travel to Negril Jamaica was the best trip I have ever been on. I have traveled other places out of the country, however I recommend Jamaica and all of the amenities they offer. The weather is fabulous and the food is even better. My favorite is the Grilled Lobster and the Jerk Chicken. I also recommend trying the bread it's yummy. I plan to re visit Jamaica in 2007. I can't wait to go.

I know Jamaica will be your Travel destination

I really agree that Jamaica is not a very fond place for me as I had a bad experience and would never care to go back. I was their and heard things about women going off alone and never coming back and other things like that but they oculd just be rumors but people who have been there a lot told me this so I dont know and at Dunn River Falls in order to get back to your cruise ship if your on a cruise you have to go out through this flea market which was not a good thing and thats the only way to get out their are other exits but they make you go out this one, and the shop owners will do anything to try and get you to buy something from them like grabbing you and your children and dragging them or trying to drag them into their shops and I saw this happen to a child who was yonger then 10. I was not thrilled about this when I saw this happened and I felt sorry for those parents. Their are just parts where i wouldnt go and this is one of them but just because I had a bad experience doesnt mean that you will.

I have been there 3 times all between December and February. I have stayed a a Sandals and Breezes resorts. If you can find a good deal for an all-inclusive resort which includes the things you like to do (golf, scuba, etc) it's a great time. I typically only stay at 4 star/apple resorts and above. I have also taken tours to Dunn's River falls and the towns. The areas they take you to are typically tourist locations and it is best to stay in those areas. The worst part of the travel is the transportation between the hotel and the resorts unless you stay in a town close to the airport.

Jamaica is great! We have been three times.

Got married at Couples, Ochos Rios in 1995, Hedonism III in Runaway Bay in 2005, Hedonism II in Negril 2006. All great but we love Negril the most.

We found it easiest to do the all-inclusive resort thing. Stay out of the "malls" which is mostly stuff from China you could buy in Tijuana.Head for the straw market for local items, crafts etc. In Negril look for Sister Love.

Been there twice now April and November and absolutely love it. Weather was great although when it rains, it rains. The people are so friendly and respectful. The weekend parties are great. The driving is a little much for me but the drivers took their time when asked to do so. The food is great.. A must visit is Milk River, so relaxing and not overly packed with people/tourists. I am now planning to build a house there.
