Funny or scary? On some shows they make fun of it and while at the same time it can saw you in half.

One or the other? Then scary. I grew up making cash cutting trees, did it for almost 10 years then cut my left leg across the knee, alsmost lost it. Took one year before I could bend it again. I still use one, without fear, but I've never ever thought of it as funny.

Not funny. Can be pretty scary in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it. A friend's dad died - bled to death, from a cut he got on his arm - pure carelessness with one.

Scary. I don't like the use for them in movies cuz I'm scared I'll cut my own head, arms, legs, etc. off if I were to use one in real life.

its a freaky tool...i dont think i've ever seen it in a funny situation. just the sound of it freaks me out!
