Like others who have answered I often keep the window active all day. My job, however, occasionally has entire days worth of down time, and I have spent virtually all of an 8-to-9-hour workday on here.
I found it a little spooky once I thought about it.
But you'll note that it hasn't driven me away.

Back when this thing got started, one night I was working and I played on Y!A for eight, yes eight, continues uninterrupted hours. The only time I removed my attention from the computer screen was to go pee, get a drink from the fridge and answer the phone

I am usually off and on during the day, but every now and then I have stayed on for about an hour. It's addicting!

Way-way-way-way-way too many. Dragon pops in and out fer most of her work day, most days of the week. Way too much time spent on Answers. Oh well. Bettar than playing solitaire!! :)
