I am starting off by making t shirts and I know how to get that done. I also want to make backpacks but I'm not sure how do have them made a certain way instead of just slapping my logo on a basic already made backpack design?

You need to go to M.A.G.I.C. in Las Vegas. MAGIC is the world's largest apparel market. You can find vendors there that can design and cut-n-sew your specified garments. OR there are vendors like American Apparel who make blank body styles that can be printed or embroidered. You can find vendors who will create artwork for you and then print or embroider it. OR try looking up apparel vendors in your area or state via computer. Look up custom logo apparel. Good luck.

Try a fashion design school
You'll find 100's of fashion designers that would jump at the opportunity and plus you'll have your pick of what styles that you like.
And as an added bonus you most likely will be able to get them to work for you at a lower fee than what an established designer would charge you

well thats easy go to the high quality fation disigners in new york like dk ny thats a high quality company start from there
