alright i am 16 yrs old
usually i get my periods for 5 days
but this time i got it for nine days and today is the nineth day!
it is really annoying
i am sexually active
and am on pills for 3 months
what do i do????

this is normal sometimes, especially with change of weather and body temperatures.
nothing is wrong with you, just calm down.
your periods will get normal as u get older.
it is best not to even worry about them
just take a pms pill and u will be ok

Your hormones are being regualted by the birth control pills you are taking. Having an extra long period is of no consequence unless you missed some pills, and may have become pregnant...and are now in the process of losing that pregnancy. Please don't become alarmed. You just need to go to the clinic that prescribed the pills and have them examine you...also take a pregnancy test.

You should call your Gyno and ask the nurse if this is normal. It may just be your body adjusting to the pill, even though you have been on the pill for three months.
