The guy has an off game and automatically your tring to write him off as average! He is one of the best, if not THE BEST, to ever play his position.

He's still an excellent receiver after the catch, but his hands have left him. I doubt there are many teams left who might want him, though. He has alienated 4 teams just about permanently, and any team that takes him on is looking at a renovation to accomodate the ESPN media circus that he brings. He is the textbook definition of locker room cancer, no self-respecting executive would take him in, and all the teams that have dumped him so far have faced at least one losing season afterward(49ers, Eagles, and even the Ravens). It's like he doesn't want to play football anymore.

It's a shame, as he could have been a Hall of Fame receiver if he'd just kept his mouth shut.

Owens is a money player, but his mouth will keep him out of the Hall of Fame. It didn't help Terrell that the Eagles dominated on the ground and that eats up a lot of clock time.

I've seen Owens play in person in San Francisco. He was great then. Too bad his ego gets in his way.

He drops catchable balls. He's a good runner AFTER catching, but what does that matter if the ball is on the ground. So in some ways he's worse than average by pro standards. Plus he's NOT a team layer, which makes his failure as a solo performer even more telling. He'll be gone from the Cowboys next year.

I agree. He is just an average player. With an abnormal mouth.

P.S "Jay" you need to learn some football. T.O. is not even a top 10 receiver this year in the NFL. How the heck can he be the best of all time?

Smoked them is an understatment!!! It was a wonderful Christmas present to the City of Philadelphia! We were happy to see TO go. He is a big baby and a media hound! The first time that Philly beat Dallas was sweet, but this was the icing on the cake!! Go Eagles!!

As far as I am concerned he is a has been.

Personally, I think between his behavior in Philly and his behavior since he has joined the Cowgirls he should be banned from the sport.

My 12 year-old cheerleaders are expected to behavior than that big baby! Kick him out of football and bring on the real men with real skill.

Yes!! and as for you Rakiya, are you a football fan? Because for you to think the media has anything to do with TO's dropped passes you are crazy just like him! He is capable of playing far better than what he has, and all he knows how to do every week is make excuses. If he would put the Excuses Energy into catching the ball, he would OUTSTANDING!!!

Perhaps!?

Hopefully he will not allow his attitude and ignorance to age with him. Hopefully he will not have the same crappy attitue by the time he's 45...

He's not going to play football forever. When he gets out there into the real world, what then? His talent as a football player will not matter when it comes to dealing with people. He needs to brush up on his attitude.

I think he is still an above average player, but he is not nearly as good as he thinks he is. He has been dropping more and more passes as his career moves on though. I doubt he'll be back with the Cowboys next year, especially if Parcells stays.
