When it comes to quality I'd recommend the I-pod video 30 GB unless you have a lot of songs then I would go with the 80GB however they are quite expensive the 30 GB is about 250 dollars while the 80GB is about 350 dollars. They are pretty well made and the only type of i-pod that can play videos. They come in both black and white.

The next best thing is the i-pod nano which can range from 150 dollars (2GB) to 250 dollars (8GB). They are much smaller than the i-pod video and are cheaper (and also have come in a brand new design)but on the downside they cannot watch videos. They come in a multitude of colors including silver, lime green, blue, pink, black, and red.

Then last but not least comes the i-pod shuffle. This is probably not the "best" but I'll describe it anyway. It is the smallest of all the i-pods it would probably be the best choice if you were searching for a cheap and very small one. It comes in 1GB only and silver. It is as small as a eraser and has an is like a cool clip on. Plus like it's name it plays songs in a completely random order.

I hope this helps.

It all depends on your budget and what you want in it. Soif you want the to play videos on your ipod get an ipod video. If you want a sleek, small ipod then get the ipod nano. If you want an even smaller one, get the ipod shuffle. Say you want an ipod nano and you plan on listening to under 3000 songs, then get an ipod with 2 GB or less. The more GBs the higher the price will be. Get an ipod that will fit your music needs.

Hope I helped.

Depends on how much music you want to put in it.

The standard iPod comes in 2 sizes: 30GB and 80GB and starts at about $249. It holds music, video, and photos. Colors: white and black.

The iPod Nano comes in 3 sizes: 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB and starts at about $149. It holds music and photos. Colors: white, black, blue, pink, green.

The iPod Shuffle is 1GB in size and only holds music. You cannot specify the order in which you play your songs on the shuffle. It simply plays them all in random order. It only comes in white.

I have the Nano and LOVE it. Have fun!

NANO. In my opinion iPods are overrated. Creative Labs mp3s are pretty good. Zen is the best(a creative brand). Best in price-to-quatlity, durrability and design.
