Yep, I'm a mega fidget.
I pick/bite my nails, play with my hair, click pens, drum with my fingers... and when I'm sitting, I swing/twitch my leg/foot in an irritating fashion... oh, and the other day I kept attaching a hair clip to my lip/mouth... it was a tiny bit bruised the next day! Yep, I'm a freak!!

i compulsively straighten magazines sitting in the waiting room in the doctor's office if i'm waiting a long time...like I get up and walk around, straightening things up. Nervous energy, perhaps? I dunno.
I like your method...much less ocd.
