I think it is because men are not exposed or raised to appreciate the arts. They are exposed to sports as soon as they can walk and this develops into a passion through the years. Most men think a skinny woman walking on her toes in a tutu is stupid and they think all male dancers are tinker belles. As stated, it is their upbringing. I'm sorry I can't make the ballet this season because I already bought my tickets to the Super Bowl.

Ballet is tradition, and the dancers are some of the best, fittest people on the planet. Its not stupid except to the ignorant. Nobody has the stamina of a ballet dancer!

Ballet is not stupid and it's way more physically taxing than literally anything else. As for your 2nd question I do not know.

footy isn`t boring...ballet is ...its a question of taste, you can like both i suppose...
