When you print from the File menu, click on the 'Preview' button at the bottom left of the panel that comes up.
The click 'Setup...' at the top of the next panel.
From the Setup screen , you can choose Fit to 1 page wide by 1 page Tall.
You can also choose landscape or portrait from this panel.
Good luck
P.S. Print Preview is helpful to confirm that you made the correct selections before printing the hard copy

Go into the spreadsheet and select the ENTIRE area you want to print, then go to the File - Print Area - and select the option to Set or Define Print Area.
Once you have that done, select the Page Setup and choose the option to Adjust to 1 page wide. You may find altering the printing to landscape versus portrait may help it fit better on the page too.
You can then use Print Preview to see if it is going to print the way you want it to.

To print the whole page you have to use the print format for that certain item. Your bank statment for instance.Click on the view/print area and print will give you the full page. Hope that helps !!

File/print preview/ choose to print on 1 page tall and 1 page wide. Or you can highlight the area you want to print if you don't want to print everything on the spreadsheet then go to file/set print area and then file/print preview/choose to print on 1 page tall and 1 page wide. the program will shrink your text to fit on the page. You can then play with the margin settings if you want to.
