Where would be a good place to live in miami if you did'nt have a car? is it a pedestrian friendly city?

Miami... unfortunately is not a pedestrian city. public transportation is completely inadequate and if u want to get anywhere ur going to need a car.
with that in mind.. if u dont have a car.. the most "central" places are miami beach, brickell, and coral gables. all these places are going to be expensive though, the realestate has gone up in the past couple of years. and also, whichever place u choose, it's going to be difficult to go to any other part of town because without a car, public transportation is crap.
my advice, go somewhere better. lol

Good areas are Pinecrest, Coral Gables, some parts of South Beach, Aventura, and South Miami.

North Miami Beach is a little less kaotic, but still close to the action when you want it.

You don't want to live there without a car with doors that lock.
Even the muggers watch the beach at night.
