Adderley (HOF '72, Bart Starr called him the best ever)
Mel Renfro (HOF '85, 52 INT 10 pro bowls)
Rod Woodson (71 INT - 12 for TD , will be HOF, 11 pro bowls)
Paul Krause (HOF 1998 - holds career INT record with 81)
Ronnie Lott (HOF, 2000 - by far the best ever, 63 INT, 10 pro bowls - hit like a MADMAN!!!!!)

p.s. Sanders did not record a tackle until his third NFL Season.

i'm a relatively recent football fan (maybe past 2 years?) so my list is going to be more recent:

Champ Bailey: his defense is game-changing.
David Hester: special teams monster
Troy Polamalu: makes the key plays in clutch situations
John Lynch: Still going in his old age, with 2 rings to show for it.
Ronde Barber: Single-handedly won games for TB, also probably the biggest CB ever.

With the exception of Lynch, I love DB's who make the "hard" INT's and cause the tempo of the game to change. Lynch just hits hard.
