I've read the manual and had directions from somebody who has owned their PSP for months. When I try to connect it says "obtaining IP address" and then it times out. I've tried this with two different networks and both said 100% strength.

Simple: Those guys put an access code for their wireless access point. I know it says it's got no security but its a personal network to which you're trying to connect, thats why.

Sorry bout that though, try another or get a wireless router for yourself... And put your own access code on it. Hows that?

It's either the box or the connection. There also could be a defect. Have you registered everything yet? That might also be what's wrong. I know I had to and then I had to get another wireless router as well. Netgear is a good one to get!
