With all the anti-foreign sentiment in Russia at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese population were smart enough to get their backsides out of Russia.

different sources provide different figures. i believe, that the realistic estimation is about 1 million, including legal and illegal visitors and immigrants. Russian citizens are very uncommon among Chinese. so, Chinese comprise a tiny share of Russian population (1-1.5%), but there is a growing feeling of threat from China in the Russian public. people fear the growing economic power of the Asian neighbor. reasons for that are the huge Chinese population, lack of natural resources in China, its environmental problems, from one side, and very sparse Russian population in Siberia and ineffectiveness of the Russian state, from the other state.

well, there r much chineese here, but i cann't say the exact number, coz almost all of them r illegal here, but believe me, very very much, especially in east part of russia: east sibiria and the far east
