More info please.
- Do you already have an internet connection?
- Do you have a wireless router?
- Do you have a wireless network card in your laptop?
- Are you hooking this up at home, trying to connect to the school or office network, or what?

People do us a favor and do like Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire and " Help us...help you! ". Give us the details that we need to give you an informed answer. Otherwise you will just get answers like "Just press on the Network Connections and say yes"

If you have a switch to enable wireless make sure its on. Or try running the wireless network setup from control panel. Also try the wireless routers homepage for tips. Good luck

Hello,
To have a wireless connaction. . . . you must have:
1) A live internet connection e.g internet with aol, telewest, bt

2) A wireless router - e.g netgear, linksys

3) this needs to be setup and connected to one another.

4) your comeputer/laptop needs to be wireless enabled - e.g needs a wireless card built in or a wireless card bought for it.

WEBSITES FOR REFERENCE:

Cable Internet Router:

Wireless Adapter for a PC:

ALL THE ABOVE NETWORK EQUIPMENT IS COMPATIBLE WITH EACHOTHER. You only need ONE router (depends on your connection e.g. cable - telewest and NTL THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO THAT ARE CABLE and ADSL - bt, wanadoo, tiscali etc. and the correct adapter whether you have a pc or laptop or both!

Hope this helps and next time please be a little more precise in your question!

Are you set up properly?

Have you got a good wireless router located in a good spot?

Do you have the necessary card or dongle fitted to your computer to receive the signal?

We have just set up using Netgear equipment and it is working superbly.
