The quilt I had made for my Grandmother with all her grandkids names embroidered in it. She cried. I cried. It was the highlight of our Christmas morning. She LOVED it!

My mate is a single parent and into DIY, a few weeks ago she told me that she had always wanted a Black and Decker Workmate, that and a box of Lindor Chocs would make her happy.
I went and bought her the chocs and wrapped them up and then whilst out shopping another day I saw a work bench in the sale at a ridiculous price so for a laugh I bought it for her. I wrapped it up and took it over to her, it was quite big and really heavy as you can imagine. I told her that I had got her both the things she had asked for but of course she couldn't remember what she had said. She kept trying unsuccessfully to guess what it could be, and me and my kids had great fun winding her up and a good laugh over her guesses, she had no idea but was really intrigued as to what it could be. However she promised not to open it till Christmas Day.
Then early Christmas morning I got a text from her, she was so excited about getting it and really pleased, it quite made my day. It was good to think that something so simple really made someones day!

The best reaction that i got was from the gift I got my brother in law. The reaction was classic because it was wrapped in a huge box, when he opened it he found another box, then another and so on. I love that trick. Haha.

Got parents and grandparents pictures of our son who is 4months old, he was dressed as Santa and adorable. That got the best reaction from everyone who received it and even those who didn't.
