I'm straight, or at least by my own standards I am.
I know several TVs and find all except one difficult to get on with. George is a secret TV, everyone in the area knows of his choices and accepts them because he doesn'y shove them in people's faces.
Before they moved to France I knew a couple in which the wife laid out his womens clothes for him to change into when he came home from work and they had been happily married for mant years.
A TV in public, which they have every right to do, is an uncomfortable reminder that there is a little bit of cross dressing in all of us. Pesonally I find that a lovely woman with big hands and an Adams Apple as un nerving as a man with wide hips and breasts. How do you treat a TV with respect without being condecending. It's not easy.

i am a pre op MTF trans. i was married to a very understanding woman for over 17 years. i too have known since the age of 14 that "something was wrong". i have been crossdressing since 15 and full time for over 15 years now.
no youre not beyond dating. you just have to be very honest with yourself and the people around you when it comes to crossdressing. do you go out dressed??? if yes, then go for it. if not, then tell the person you are with - at the appropriate time - that you like to dress but only at home, etc.
good luck.
if you want to talk more, email me.

I am 54 and have been dressing as a girl since I was 14 when my friend Gary gave me some girl clothes from that time on I knew that I was a girl traped in a man's body. I know that I want to live as a woman with a man. So keep looking and follow your heart. Hope this helped and good luck.

What you are saying is you are on TV like millions of other people and you wonder if people like you for you or because you are on TV?
Sounds like to me you are around the wrong crowed. Get out of the crowed you are in and find someone who doesn't care what your chosen profession is. So what you are on tv... find a place people do not know you. If you need to go to the city or town a couple hours away do it!
Remember though if you want people to like you for you, you need to give up the "I am on TV" ...
Good luck everyone has a hard time finding a mate.

Sadly, the number of women who fancy TVs is greatly outnumbered by the number of TVs who would like to find an understanding woman. But don't give up.

That is entirely your choice but I for one think that you should never give up on love. You may miss out on something great. Its ok to be a Tv as long as it does not interfere with you. Remember to look before you leap and always be honest with people you get involved in.

Definately not beyond dating!
You might like to try a specialist dating agency online however, as I know it can sometimes be hard to find accepting people in the real world.
Good luck and keep your chin up!

Everyone deserves to love and be loved - I hope you find someone, but dont rush in - you need to love yourself first (a cliche but true) before you go out into the dating world. Wish you luck and love :-)
