Which do you prefer? The classic or the sleeker version?

The Nintendo DS Lite is a total improvement over the original NDS. It's smaller, has a much brighter screen (you can't play the original NDS outside), and generally looks much better designed. If you can find the original for cheap (people are dumping theirs for ~$60) then it's worth picking up. But if you're going to pay closer for $100 for the NDS, I'd recommend getting the Lite for $130 instead.

From personal experience I prefer the classic one better. I got it when it first came out and like it over the Lite. There's not much difference except that the DS Lite is slightly brighter. However, I think the DS classic has better sound, so it is really whether you like your DS brighter or louder.

you'll come across a used DS lite for $130 new and perchance $80 used yet in case you get only a elementary DS it may fee $one hundred fifteen new and $60 used there is not any massive difference in video games basically length so purchase the unique DS

I have ds lite n psp. Daughter has ds. I think it depends what ure looking for. I switch between my psp n ds lite. I like old skool games like mario n sonic etc on ds lite. I prefer need 4 speed etc on psp.

It doesn't make a difference. If you want a smaller console get a lite(for real hi-tech gamers.) If your eyesight isn't great get a normal one. They both operate the sane and play the same games. The price though, lite is more expensive!

I likethe classic version better the buttons werea little better spaced out for big hands like mine. And the gameboy advance games fit in its slot fully without sticking out .Although the colors on the new one are quite good and a little brighter id still prefer the classic though

I think the classic has a sturdier feel and will last longer. The lite looks the part but for me it feels a little flimsy in my greasy palms.

DS light because it fit in your pocket but you use it the same as the classic one
