The firmware included in the ipod and the itunes once in sync will always limit you to 100 songs to every 500 megs..even though you are able to fit more by compressing the track it wouldnt matter. Even though they are legal ways to bypass this system. I gt 5 - 6 hours of music on my 512 mb memory card. So your looking at an average 20 hours upwards on your 2 gig. But this will vary because I am sure you will be squeezing some data in on your ipod as well.

what format and how big they are.
your polly using mp3 and if its full prolly like
