they love the carbs...and even though they have an extrememly fast matabolism...they can have breads, IN MODERATION. like 1/4 a slice of whole wheat every other day. They also like UNSUGARED cornflakes. Allow only maybe 2 flakes per day at the most.

Also, If you want to treat your piggles, give them whole grain bread crust. THEY LOVE IT.
and my 3 vets okayed it...as with the 1/4 slice of whole wheat everyother day.

All My piggles are over 8 years old..and extrememly healthy.

Do Guinea Pigs Eat Bread

No, they should not, and it's not an ideal diet for a rabbit, either.

Guinea pigs need a pellet based off of a grass hay (such as timothy hay), unlimited amounts of hay, and fresh vegetables.

Neither guinea pigs nor rabbits would have grains in their diet as staple, and the only time they would happen to, it would be a miniscule part. It really only serves to add empty calories that they don't need, so many rabbit breeders will give their rabbits grain to "condition" them for shows.

yes, they can eat bread, but make sure it's a whole grain bread as refined white flour is not good for them. They like corn tortillas and most any vegetable. a nice fresh alfalfa hay is nice too.

they choose nutrition c to stay because they cant produce their personal yet they cant have too a lot. you may supply them a small piece of orange or positioned a tiny little bit of orange juice in its water yet only for that day. they ought to easily have nutrition c one a week. they could have one-2 carrots an afternoon. I dont recommend tomatoes. not some thing acidy or sugary
