At 38 weeks I had bloody discharge to. It may be your bloody show. This can occur a couple of weeks before you go into labor but usually it means labor is near. Sounds to me like things are right on schedule for you. I went in for a planned c-section at 39 weeks so I am not sure if I would have went into labor on my own after the bloody show or not.

Sounds like the bloody show, which is a sign that you will go into labor soon. Get your backs packed and ready. Have a shower and get a whole lot of sleep because you're going to need all the rest you can get.
Good luck to you!!

It sounds like it could be part of your mucous plug. It can be all or partially bloody, and usually kindof a "snot" consistency (as lovely as that sounds). Are you having any cramping? If you are, it may be that your body is in the stages of early labor.
If your bleeding becomes heavier or is accompanied by clotting, fever or dizzyiness, call your Doctor immediately!
Labor vibes your way!

It could be your mucus plug. That's normal. If the bleeding becomes heavy call your doctor and get checked for problems with the placenta.
