Charging 2 Ipods at once?

Me and my cousin have gotten Ipods but hes charging his from my computer and I want to charge mine, I have 3 places on the modem where I can put the adaptor in. And im afraid that his songs will overwrite mine or mine will overwrite his.

It will prompt you before it deletes anything, asking if you want to synchronize your iPod to the library on the computer. Click the command button that says "No" and you will be fine.
