You haven't said what you skill levels are. I have found the most effective way to earn GP is through mining and smithing. Depending on what's hot, you can find a steady market for common things, like nails.
I can mine adamatite, but can't smith it, so I sell adamatite ores for about 1K each.
Often it is simplest to sell items to the general or specialty stores. If you do, though, don't sell more than about 3 of an item at a time. The price goes down quickly as the inventory rises.

Make 10 battlestaffs and high alkie them. Sell stuff. There are lots of ways. I craft all kinda things and have other people merchant them.
