I have a 1g Insignia that I am having the same difficulties with at the moment . This was clearly not a plug and play device . The software that came with it has done nothing either (except download Rhapsody into my computer ... I am still waiting for Best Buy tech support to get back to me ... Obviously when you plug yous in , you must be getting some kind of error message when you computer tries to read new hardware ? Have you tried to get ahold of any tech support from the manufacturer ? Nonetheless , if you would like I'll keep you posted as to what it took to resolve the issue ?
