Before you answer, read everything I have to say!
I am having a problem loading yahoo games such as JT's Blocks or any game lobby. What happens is that I click on the link and it pops open the window and then loads the yahoo games main page instead of the game. I have the most current version of IE7, though it did the same thing on IE6. I can run the games fine on Firefox. So why the problems with IE? It worked fine last week and I can't think of anything that I did that would have caused a problem. I know others are also having the same problem.

Internet Explorer released a new update that disables every add on by default.

Go to "Tools"
Then "Manage Add ons"
Then "Enable or disable add ons"
Enable all the add ons you use like java

Unfortunately, those that have answered thus far have not completely read your question. I asked a question relating to the same problem, and received one of the same answers that you have.

I am able to open SOME but not all Yahoo game rooms. I have become convinced that this is apparently a problem that lies with Yahoo. It certainly can not be my Java Runtime, since I am able to initiate some of the game room applets.

If you get further information, I would certainly appreciate you sharing it. My guess, is that if IE (I am still using IE6) did update, that there are some "bugs" in the Yahoo game site programming. (Not that Yahoo would ever admit to that).

Yahoo actually has a version of IE7 that is tailored to work with Yahoo so either try that or switch to Firefox. I have been using Firefox since shortly after I updated to IE7 and it works so much better! Try it.
