Some women get nauseous when they menstruate, due to the hormones.

Could this be the case?

Could just be allergies. I know mine make me nauseous a couple times a month. Usually taking tylenol sinus or something like that before I go to bed calms my stomach down for the next morning. It could also be from her birth control pills. She may need to make sure and eat some dry toast or something like that in the a.m. to ease her stomach. If it started a month after she started taking the birth control she may just need time for her body to adjust. Tell her to give it a few months and if it continues have her ask her doc if she should try a different brand of pills. Dry toast and crackers does wonders. I hope she feels better. And I have to say you sound like a caring person to be concerned about your girlfriend. Keep it up!

She probably gets nauseous the week before her period. I do quite often. Her hormones just go a little crazy. If she's on allergy meds, it could contribute to that, but you don't THINK she's pregnant, have her test anyway. Hope you use protection!

it could be many things..my doctor is trying to figure out why I am nauseous and having headaches. She thinks my allergies could add to it, and stress. Realistically it could be a number of things. My doctor told me to take allergy meds, drink more water, exercise regularly, get a regular sleep pattern, and lay off caffeine for a while. Try different things..like eating healthy and doing good things for the body.

It's probably her hormone levels going crazy before her period. It could also be allergy related. Get her on some allergy meds and if it doesn't clear up then it's probably her hormone levels.

Possibly, she can be pregnant.Have her do a pregnancy test, because some women do have a period during pregnancy,as well as it can be a allergy.Possibly it can be a chemical reaction that's triggering her harmones.

It most likely has something to do with the chemical changes in her body during a certain time connected to her cycle.
